You have no idea what you're talking about with - 90% revenue coming from their Mac line.. The Macs accumulate for less than 15% of Apple's revenue in the last quarter. Apple makes more than 70% of it's profit from the sale of iPhone's and iPad's. A quick Google search on your part would confirm these numbers.
I have no idea what I'm talking about ? I didn't say Macs, I said computers. You know, Macs/iPads/iPhones/iPods. Basically all the hardware they sell, which is all computers. ~90% of their revenue is off of hardware sales, which is basically all their lines of computers, be they traditionnal desktop/laptop PCs, tablet computers or smartphones.

It is on the side right now but you know Apple wants to own that market. They already have our credit card info, if they so this swipe to buy thing that will be a huge money maker for them. Like it or not the the personal computer is going away. I am not happy about it but that is the future. Apple wants simple and to get iPads into every kids and grandparents hands.
iPads are computers, they are personal. The personal computer is changing, it's not going away. Quite the contrary, it'll become more and more important to your daily life as it will replace things like your books, your magazines, your TV, your radio, etc..
Anyway, I'm guessing you have no actual basis in reality to claim Apple is "becoming a multi-media company". You're just inventing things here. Apple is in the computer business. This will be the case for quite a while based on their 90% revenue from actual computing hardware.

For those who are interested:
So it's 18.4% + 13.6% + 55.1% + 4.4% + 2.0% or 93.5%. I was pretty close there with my 90% mark. Not bad for someone that "has no idea what he's talking about".
