That because it could make sense. The 9400M and GT100 series video cards employed on the iMacs now are woefully outdated. Nvidia released their 200M series video a month ago, boasting that they are significantly faster than the previous generation of GT100 series cards.
The Mini could probably easily accommodate Apple soldering on a 9600M GT GPU and some memory chips. a 200M series GPU in the Mini would be awesome, and I would probably break out with the credit card today.

I doubt it. If you think GPU is outdated then CPU must be ancient...

Like Hellhammer said, I think it's Snow Leopard related too. It's the only thing that makes moderately sense given when it happens.

Well, I guess it's safe to say the next series of Apple updates will arrive between August 4th - 13th. Probably just for iPods.

man, i wish they updated final cut express. i have been waiting to buy it since i got my iMac. hopefully it comes soon
