FYI, it certainly seems to be an issue with specific gates. At Glencairn Station this morning I got the “Multiple Cards Detected” issue consistently on one terminal (I tried five times), but it worked flawlessly the first time on the gate right next to it…

Not surprising. As consistent and as flawless as the TTC itself.
Heh, yup… and maybe Glencairn was a fluke. Every one I tried at St. Andrew failed … that was six of them before I gave up and brought up Apple Pay manually.

I’m starting to wonder if the people who aren’t having any problems at all only have one card in Apple Wallet 😏

No, it's the different readers and stations. I have multiple cards in my AW. Failed for me on Islington Subway but worked at Queen's Park.

Right, but I’ve seen a few folks (including at least one person in this thread) saying they’ve been using it successfully for a while now with no problems at all.

I also have multiple cards in my wallet app, and am having the same problems. However, maybe those who aren’t having any problems only have a single card. Just random speculation, since the error talks about multiple cards being detected…. However, it also doesn’t really make sense when I think about it, because the Apple Watch or iPhone shouldn’t be presenting more than one card, yet the terminal is clearly seeing something that makes it think that … and only when Express Pay is used.

Did not work at Bathurst station the other day when I tried to tap without waking it up from sleep and opening wallet first. 😡

Unfortunately I don't remember what error it gave me as I was in a hurry and just immediately retapped the old-fashioned way by opening wallet first...

It seems to be very inconsistent. I have had it work at Queen's Park subway only not to work on the same turnstile the next day.
