What does your adaptor achieve that an iPhone charger with a lightning cable can't? I could have understood this if it was female one end and USB on the other.

To be honest I struggle with keeping my iPad Pro's battery up enough as it is, charging the Pencil from it too is a bit annoying... so it will be good to try this device.
