Once you figure out which Pencil is compatible with your iPad you can feel happy spending over $100 on it! Absolute greed.
The good old days when the color black was locked to more expensive models (MacBook, iPods) and when the MacBook Air was $1799.
That's a good price for a store bought USB-C. 👌
I was lucky and found a new (unopened box) Apple Pencil Pro for $50, from Facebook Marketplace. I thought it must be a fake, so I opened it and connected it, before paying. It was 100% Legit.
If I hadn't lucked into such a deal, I wouldn't have a bought a pencil. It's not worth $100+ to me, for a pencil.
You’re still going to want to get it from Apple to get it engraved. I had to fight off a couple of junkies when my Apple Pencil pro was stolen last week. Luckily my name was on it. Seattle is a wild city

I bought the Pencil Pro... after telling myself I wouldn't. I'm hoping iPadOS 18 makes it more useful for those of us that have terrible handwriting, lol.
I agree. I have the iPad Pro 11' first generation and I'm happy with that. It's sad that the Apple Pencil Pro only works on the new iPad Pros that no one can afford or wish to buy. If Apple allowed the Pencil Pro to work on the older generation iPad Pros maybe I would buy the pencil.
Because it’s the most popular option next to the base model, due to the upgraded GPU and 16GB RAM. People really thought Apple would do something special with iPadOS this hear after releasing such a ridiculously powerful tablet. Jokes on them I guess.
Anyway, wait another month for stock to stabilize after the initial run on that SKU and you should start seeing discounts too.
You and I both know it’s far more than a stylus, come on now. For an artist it’s an incredibly advanced tool. But if you’re spending $120 just to actually use it as a stylus and just tap things, that’s on you lol

Overall, Apple sales will continue to slow as the majority of people either can’t afford to upgrade periodically for incremental performance enhancements.
Perhaps it’s time for newer models like the iPhone to be introduced bi-annually instead of yearly.

I just found out…it takes AAAAAAAAAAA size batteries, and they're not rechargeable, so you have to spend another 18¢ when it runs out. What a ripoff!
