Yeah most any store will swap out the device, and charge you the difference. They usually have a lenient return policy. The only time you may have an issue is if you abuse a return policy. Then you may have issues at that point.

For the first time in a long time, I'm tempted to get a new iPad. My Mini (2nd generation) is showing its age. Yet as I contemplate 64GB vs. 256, I see almost not reason to get the larger one given my usage habits.

What will make you pull the trigger? No risk with return policy so ...

The $100 to go from 64GB to 256GB is a much better deal than $200 to go from 256GB to 512GB.

I would get the 256GB iPad even if I thought I didn't need it.

Thanks for the advice guys, originally my main reason for doing this was wanting to get all my Icloud video clips onto the Ipad to edit in Imovie. Turns out when I looked into it my entire photo and video library on Icloud is only 24gb, so 64 should be fine for what I need.

Still tempted but I put a fancy screen protector on last night and the nearest apple store is a good 45 min drive away, so I think I'll stick with what I have. Air1 with 32gb was fine space-wise, so I should be good.
