Wow, that was kinda unexpected :)
Good news for my MBA, for the last days it was spinning its Airs non-stop @ 6200 rpm...

Give us reports!

A bunch of you already told us that you're downloading it now, but don't forget to give us a report on how it's working for you! And please do it as soon as possible so us more cautious upgraders can know whether or not we should take the leap.

My iMac with Leopard 10.5.4 has actually been acting really weird lately. It seems to be getting slower and slower and there's been lots of keyboard and mouse delay. Even my non-technical wife has commented that "the computer is slower".

I'm been thinking about backing up all my data and doing a total fresh reinstallation.

Here's hoping 10.5.5 makes things go back to normal.

I have the same issue as yourself with my MBP SR. Hoping this fixes it. :D

Downloading now ... waiting for the analysis for the MacBook, MacBook Pro, and MacBook Air numbers that may be embedded in the build!

The list of fixes looks promising, some long overdue, but I'll wait a bit and let some of you try it first.

Yeah, I know. A bit egoistic and not helping the community... Sorry :p

feels snappier :p

I am more stoked about the 10.5.5 server update, fixed a bunch of Active Directory integration issues.

Mine installed fine don't notice too many differences, however mail does feel faster, I'm hoping this update will get rid of the tearing dock on my dell monitor. Animations also seem to work a bit better.
