As long as this stays in the appstore, I don't mind.
With regards to the TV+lower tier, I don't mind as well (as long as they don't jack up the price of the regular subscription.).
If some people want to have access to the shows at a lower price, more power to them.

I dont pay for Youtube premium and lord has it really gotten bad with the amount of ads now. Super long ads you cant skip and they appear so frequently. Used to be my main source of entertainment consumption but now I second guess what I want to watch based on how annoying I feel it will be

Apple has decades of AI research to catch up on, and they give us.... Ads. That's legit. Improving our lives and enhancing the bicycle for our minds. Tim Cook has obliterated the core essence of Jobs virtues with technology and innovation. It's all about share holders and dollars again. May as well have hired Scully back. Vision Pro is literally the newton of the era.

I don't know. If the ad placement is clever, I wouldn't mind so much. Cerveza Cristal ad placements in the Star Wars trilogy was pretty clever. I laughed so hard the first time I watched those YouTube videos, my kids muttered that Kylo Ren had the right idea.

Tracking Ads are far worse then the old phone illegal taping. My systems blocked 26,000 tracking Ads in one week. These Ads need to be illegal. Apple privacy is really no better than any of the other actors. Different sheep in the same clothing.

Jokes on them, I don’t scroll through the App Store like it’s a social media feed. Ads in there mean nothing to me.

This is going to be the biggest use for AI. User tracking/surveillance and behavioral analysis. A party for gov't and big business.
