Or, people buy them to use during spring break and then pay the 10% restocking fee to return them after they return from break....

Always sucks when Ronco offers a better return policy on their Pocket Fisherman than Apple offers on their iTrip.

You can all feel sorry for the thread started that they aren't going to have enough money for the essentials in life now like the Inside-The-Shell Egg Scrambler.

I bought an iTrip and returned it like 60 days later b/c it didnt work. I couldnt even get a store credit. They said I had 14 days or there was NOTHING they can do. I kindly explained to them that I have purchased probably well over $10,000 worth of apple hardware and the fact that I couldnt return a $50 iTrip that sucked was totally rediculous.

NO budge. Why does Apple have to suck at Return Policies? Does anybody else find this policy completely assanine and totally unfair ?

60 days later is a bit too much! They are not Costco... If it didnt work why didnt you return it sooner. Doesnt matter how much you spent at a store, why should that matter. 10k isnt that much for Apple maybe in 1977, but not now. The policy is printed on the receipt if you couldnt return it sooner mail it in for the warranty.

They changed the return period on computers to 6 months, but otherwise I believe it remains unchanged.
