Until the one day you fumble it while using out somewhere or it falls out of a pocket or you knock it off the nightstand or a million other things, even things out of your control that can happen to a heavy glass device ya carry daily… i didnt have cases on my iPhone 4. those things were light and small and could survive but the heavy ass phones of today not so much And for how much more they cost now i wouldnt take the chance.
