I just hope they don't ruin it by overly-padding it, like Lost.

What an unsatisfying mess that show turned out to be in the end.

Severance is a fantastic show. Even though the director promises that is not going to be another 3 years for the next season, I am not expecting the next one to be here in 12 months time. Might take till 2026 November/December for Season 3 and that is still a long time away.

Still not understanding how a series with about 10 characters total including extras and shot in an office space plus a small town manages to cost more than Foundation, See, or essentially almost any other cinematic level Apple show. Heck even shooting around London and getting soccer footage for Ted Lasso would seemingly cost more.

Not surprising - Severance is becoming one of the greatest television shows ever.

I have faith they'll stick the landing.

I'm just waiting for the season to be complete so I can start watching it. I really hate the drip drip format of releasing like this. I hated that crap growing up in the 90s, I certainly don't want to do it now after tasting the goodness of releasing a series all at once like Netflix. I'll just wait until it's all out to binge it over a few days.

I like most of Lasso. Season 3 was a lot weaker, in my opinion. I haven't tried Severance although I don't care for the dystopian theme, which too many Apple TV shows seem to cater to for my liking.

I'm the same way, but do still enjoy Severance. I guess it does have a dystopian-ish feel to it at times, but not all of the time. And to me it feels more isolated to the company and not the whole world, because outside of the company things feel a bit more normal.

It's kind of hard to describe. Might be worth a try, though, coming from someone who also isn't a fan of dystopian themes most of the time. 🤷‍♂️

Between this and silo I don’t have a god damn clue what’s going on and I throughly enjoy that.
Same here. Severance is the first show that's made me feel like I'm watching TV incorrectly, and I love it! I rarely sit and think about a show after it's over, but this one causes me to do just that.

It’s obvious that they’ve rewritten and reshot certain scenes as Stiller have said. Season 2 loses balance. It’s too convoluted and the plots are overly bizarre. It becomes harder to follow which makes me lose interest. It’s a real shame and a waste of opportunity for what could have been a truly great show.
