Anyone asking Apple to make a car has no freaking clue what's involved under the hood.
All they see is the interior, displays, and buttons.
Other than tighter integration of cell phones and mobile computing, and maybe some nice multi-functions displays, I don't see what Apple would be bringing to the table.
They have 0 experience in anything related to powertrain, chassis, safety.
How on earth would they be able to make a decent car that actually drives and handles well?
Most people here have no clue how complex modern cars are, and how many things have to come together to make a decent car.
