Apple Silicon MacBooks and backlit logo

Thinking about it further, if it returned, I’d like it as a full color little screen. Primarily because I’d like to have it display all the trippy versions of the Apple logo they’ve been coming up with recently

I sure hope it makes a glowing comeback With the classic startup chime now making a comeback, who knows we may get an all new backlit logo with silicon MacBooks ?

One of the classic things ditched by Apple with the Intel transition was the glowing Apple backlit logo on their laptops. I don't know why this was removed (probably the thin lid).
But do you think this classic backlit Apple logo makes a comeback with the new Apple Silicon based MacBooks?

It disappeared in 2015 with the MacBook and again with the MacBook Pros in 2016. As someone that had a screen crack on a Mac laptop that had the backlit Apple logo ON the backlit Apple logo, I'm sure that durability was a factor. That and 14-15 years of it was plenty.
