I feel like Apple Stabbed me in the Back, I just about 2 Months back purchased a Bluetooth external Mouse to use it with my iPad Pro and now after the release of the iPad OS 13.4 it has become almost un-usuable most of the features that were working earlier before the iPad OS 13.4 Update either don't work, or work wonky !

I have the Logitech MX Anywhere 2S Mouse and I spent about $70 USD on it. And its all gone waste now !!

I would like to know anyone else here who has the same Mouse and was using it before the iPad OS 13.4 Update, How are you guys coping up with it ?

or work wonky

There is literally no way to diagnose your issue with this description. Wonky is never a describer. Is the movement stuttering? Is the cursor not showing up at all? Does the mouse sometimes move the cursor and sometimes it doesn't?

I have a Victsing BT mouse that after 13.4 intermittently scrolls. I constantly have to shut it off and back on to get scrolling back. Is that a an issue you’re having?

I have the same mouse & 13.4 - you need to be specific about the issues you're having.

Ok For starters the Slide Over Window (Like The Third Windows used to slide in and out from the Corner) that no longer happens using this mouse. You cannot bring it out nor slide in using the Anywhere 2S mouse.

2. When on YouTube if you want to scroll the Video Forward or backwards, the circle to drag the video forward and backward cannot be done using the MX ANYWHERE 2S Mouse.

The Logitech MX Ergo felt kind of jittery/dragging after the iPadOS 13.4 update on a 2017 iPad Pro 12.9. I had already increased the tracking speed but it still felt like the pointer was lagging.

Disabling Pointer Animations in Accessibility > Pointer Control seems to have helped make movement smoother.

Yes that is one more thing, that is worth seeking attention, The Pointer is behaving absolutely weirdly and unpredictable even after keeping precise settings. This was not the case before the update. The Pointer Movement was very smooth infact buttery smooth, You could not feel any lag or any issues in precision, but that is not as earlier for sure.

If you are having issues with BT using the Logitech devices, try their USB receivers. I had some issues like mouse jittering, responsiveness, connection issues with both the K780 and the MX Anywhere 2 with this iPad Pro 11 2018 iOS 13.4 model and after plugging in the usb receiver everything is buttery smooth.

I disabled the animations straight off - didn't care for them.

2. You mean move the time scale at the bottom? With AssistiveTouch on and and Button 2 mapped to Secondary Click, I could move the time scale setting.

So how does Button 2 Mapped to Secondary help in moving the time scale on a YouTube Video ? What does it do ?

You mean Plugging in the USB receiver on the iPad Directly ?

I was able to grab the little red circle - current time indicator on the time bar - and move it back and forth using the right top button on the mouse.

I didn't need to use the USB adapter - my mouse seems to be working well without it. I turned off animations and increased tracking speed and all works well on my 2018 12.9 Pro.

What about slide over ? Can you drag and push back it using the cursor on your Bluetooth Mouse ?

No - slide over doesn't appear to work well; sometimes it works, mostly not.

Had I little Idea back in Jan that Apple was gonna come with a Magic Mouse and Trackpad Support I would have rather saved this money that I spent on Logitech and would have rather purchased an Apple Magic Mouse. Now I am stuck with this like a bone in my throat.

Have you tried another mouse to compare or have you tried unpairing, restarting the iPad and pairing again?

I've been using the MX 2S on both my iPad and docked laptop so it has worked well for me I did order a Trackpad 2 that I should get delivered today; not that I need it but it's a lockdown diversion. Hopefully, there will be improvements in the mouse implementation. There are issues like these and the general problem of a confusing user interface with controls scattered throughout Settings. And it needs to be separated from AssistiveTouch as it is now mainstream.

Got this tip over on Reddit and it works -

It is difficult to get the right motion to bring the slide over app out from the edge. Sometimes it only wants to peek out a bit, then go back in.

Here is what seems to work for me, though I am not good at it yet:
  1. Push the mouse to the side of the display, then stop.
  2. Push again and you will see the slide over app peek out a bit.
  3. Continue pushing and the slide over app will appear just as if you were using your finger to slide it into position.
  4. To get rid of the slide over app, do the same procedure.
You have to use two motions, mouse to the screen limit, stop, then try to push it farther.

I do not have any other Mouse to pair. I specially purchased this Mouse to use it with my iPad Pro. Yes I have also restarted the iPad Pro and pairing the the Mouse again.

I had never seen rollover animations before. Innovative and magical!

Exactly! Nobody's able to help you if you aren't specific.
How is this Apple 'stabbing him in the back'. It might be a bug, but I don't see any
reconfiguration of functionality that made his mouse inoperative.

You need to find either a USB-C Hub with USB 2.0 port or use a USB-C to USB-A adapter which I'm using at the moment. The reason for the USB 2.0 port instead of USB 3.0 is that USB 3.0 may interfere with Logitech 2.4GHz signal.

There were tons of rumors back in January that Apple had something coming that would support the Magic Mouse and Trackpad. Most of use that we’re using them and saw Apple disable it with the iOS 13.3.1 guessed they did that because they were getting an update ready. I feel your pain with spending money and something not working but we show this coming. I’m sure Apple will fix your issues or maybe Logitech will release a firmwear update. It‘s only been a day.
