i still hope there'lll be new MBP, however the retailer told me that there wont be new one at least until start of 2007.

That would be bad. Apple would start down the path of being behind the other manufacturers in speed all over again. I thought that was behind us now with the Intel switch.

Bugger - doesnt seem to work - any idea how long his speeches normally last?

1 hour 15 min to 2 hours (for Dev Confs)

Looks like the iPods, new iTunes and Movies are all we will get. He used his "one more thing" line before talking about the movies so I am guessing that is it. Poopy!

Hmmm this sucks. I wanted a new MBP bad, but was hoping for something off the wall to boost my spirits when I didn't get it.

I guess not :(

I hear ya... the MBP is offically a processor revision behind now. Not acceptible for the pro line. The macbook is more understandable but they need to get on it with the MBP.

ok, so, officially, vPod will be out Q1 2007... Prob. January MWSF

Any chance they will just silent launch it? Not like the iMacs got a "one more thing" either, and that was a way larger update.

True... maybe when the store comes back online they will be there! haha. I would pee myself :p

Allright, no MBs or MBPs. But, could be because:

All vendors I checked have shipping dates for the last week of September. Since Apple does like to say "IN STOCK" and "SHIPPING TODAY", I would say, September 26/27th for possible MacBook and MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo introductions.
