Apple store interview, wearing an Apple shirt?

What do you guys think if a person went to interview at an Apple store, be it a group interview wearing a black shirt with a white Apple logo in the middle.

Would this make the person stand out in a positive way?
Would it make them seem to fit in more?
or is this interview suicide?

They want balanced interesting people who, whilst passionate about the product, are not scary fanatics (and, yes I do have Apple tshirts). If you would not wear it to any other interview, don't wear it to Apple.

I don't think wearing an Apple shirt will make or break the interview.

I was under the impression Apple interviews are a casual thing. You dont want to look too dressed up..

I agree. Apple's site kinda gave me a false sense of dressing casual. I wonder if jeans and a dressy shirt will suffice? What do you think?

I think khakis instead of jeans would be better

Black jeans - like many wear in the store, you'd be OK with. Very smart, reasonably dark freshly laundered jeans you might get away with. Casual ones, no.

I'm not sure it's such a great idea to wear an Apple shirt. They will probably be freaked out. At a lot of the Apple stores I've been to, the employees don't know too much about macs (the Geniuses do, luckily)

even if a t-shirt WERE acceptable dress for the interview, the ploy probably wouldn't come across very genuinely.. more like a kiss-butt, juvenile ruse....

While Apple is laid back (if you wear a nice Tshirt and nice jeans, you'll be cool) isn't wearing an Apple shirt to an Apple interview a bit like wearing a Pink Floyd Tshirt to a pink floyd concert.

I'd just go for a nice polo and jeans combination. Nice-ish shoes, too.

i would not wear it, as i can't see it helping very much, other then something to break the ice of the interview. But i can see it hurting you making you seem like an addict, but honestly i would hope Apple being the company who can look past your clothes as see the real you. How ever i know each store is different, with different people

I did consider that lol. I dressed up fairly nice. It was a group interview, I did well. We shall see.
I wanted to say thanks to everyone for their input and help. I took your advice and I feel you made the right call.

How come dressing in an apple shirt would be seen as sucking up, but dressing up more than regular isn't? I don't have any advice on this, I'm just asking.
