They are trying to figure out how to fit all the awesomeness of the Mac Tablet on just one screen.
Yea... Apple is getting ready to release quad core iMacs w/ Blu-Ray, a Mac tablet, quad core MacBooks/Pros w/ Blu-Ray, iPod touches w/ HD camera, and quad core MacBook Airs for under $1000.

I just don't see them doing maintenance every week. Especially on a Monday.
If you click the Apple sign to go to the homepage and then back to the store it is down. Looks like it got cached or something.
The store is back up here in the US. Don't notice anything different. I'm pretty sure they were having some technical issues. It was a weird time to see the store go down.
Server
I'll bet Mac mini's, server and maybe imacs
Snow leopard server has come out without any specific hardware for it thus a server would be my first guess. Also mac minis are the most underpowered of machines and are due to step up to the bigtime for 64bit/ 4Gb ram. Imac - well we all want one

For U.S. users, I've found that adding us/ to http://store.apple.com/ brings up the store every time. It doesn't seem to have ever been completely down.
mine is up again ... doesnt look like anything brand new... i guess thats why they habe keynote presentations first... but it shouldnt be long until new imacs and macbooks do come... cant wait!!!!
