Apple usually releases promo's before Christmas Holidays or before the Educational Term begins. At times they will give out codes on previous generation products when they have ample stock, other than that you are out of luck.

If you are looking for a promo code for MacBook Pro or x86 iMac, you will be out of luck.

Plan on seeing no promo code for the Nano yet as Apple makes a slim profit on it, unless they plan on releasing a bigger capacity Nano and want to get rid of excess stock. I still do not seem them doing it though as the Nano is very popular.

There will be some promo codes out for the Mac Mini, and the other PPC hardware as soon as they have enough x86 stock and intro the other lines.

You best bet is to buy a refurb Mac Mini at this point of the PPC > x86 conversion.
