iPod Apple Store Screen Saver Thread

confused

i just dowloaded the video and savehollywood but now how do i get save hollywood to run as my screen saver, whenever i click save hollywood system preferences comes up with no savhollywood screen saver?

I have looked, but haven't found any others listed on Google.

For those who are having trouble with the "We can help you do it all" video, we're working on it. Patience, grasshopper. :)
 
Thanks! clayj I didn't know about SaveHollywood and for getting those Apple demo videos. ;)

I'm having fun making Quicktime compatible video my screen saver. It's the 2006 Nano one for now.
 
Is SaveHollywood Universal? Or is there some other similar app that is? I can't seem to find anything on MacUpdate...

EDIT: Just kidding :) I searched for "intel" on the SaveHollywood page, but the developer says 'universal'.

Well, thank Apple for making them. Just thank me for using a little initiative. :) (Honestly, I don't know why Apple don't make these things more easily available for people to use...)
 
Thanks guys. As I mentioned before, I'll look around work tomorrow for the discs containing Apple screen savers. I know for sure we have a disc that looks like the grey OS install disc, except it's black and it says "MacBook Screensaver" on it. I'll investigate tomorrow. :cool:

thanks clayj i'm downloading now it will take a 100 days but it should look cool when its done (i'm on my school's network, yes i know it sucks)

edit i just download one and i get an error

What is up with your school's sloooow network puckhead193? :confused: Are they using a dial-up internet connection or something? :p ;) :D :)

Spotlight search for .mov, then upload them to an FTP server? :p

i think so.... :( i'm going to have an uber fast imac with a slow internet connection :rolleyes:

when i got them off the iMac at my apple shop i looked in screen savers and it was there with sound so i bluetoothed it to my phone and now i can watch it on my iBook as a screensaver
