I'm confused what these ads have to do with Apple and the Mac? Apple does lots of ad campaigns in stores. I don't see this ad as "hi we're Apple and we don't care about the Mac". Does every post on this site have to be about the Mac? Sheesh.

This is one of many ads
Also, would this even be an advertisement? It's just a tape playing on the screen when it's turned off
Think of it as a screensaver
Its posters all over the wall of the apple store.

The Anthropocene
I thought it was overly juvenile, I still love Macs but its getting harder to harder to justify the purchase when they increase the price, offer product that is missing stuff that I deem important and seems like an after thought as they focus on the iPhone/iPad market.

I have to say, I agree with these sentiments exactly.

Well, yes they are advertisements. They are promoting various hardware and software products. Sorry but I don't really follow your reasoning.

They're aiming the adds at the teens and pre-teens with this stuff, and I think its a mistake. Perhaps I'm being an old curmudgeon but I think Apple focusing so much on emojis is a mistake.

They aren't much different to the iPod + iTunes ads, no? (I don't really know, I was 14/15 when most of them aired - Interesting enough, while I was looking at these Emoji ads, a song from the old iPod ads started playing mixed in with current music)

Some of the videos seem to be the AppleTV flyover screensaver with added emojis basically
This is the svp Jessica's doing, right?

I think its very different, it was a classic ad program that was classic reaching across different demographics imo, where has the emojis on a cityscape backdrop are seemingly directed towards tweens and teens.
