Apple Studio Display (2022) order thread.

Just incase it’s helpful for other people. I’m in UK and my shipping window was 14th-25th Apr. And it’s coming today on 21st. Lucky me, I was worried it was going to be pushed back like others. This is for a nano tilt display.

(You can order and pick up normal glass from apple store straight away in UK now)

Excited to see this nano in action. I work in a garden studio shed, so very sunny. I tried a iMac Pro a while back but felt it was too reflective as I could just see myself in it all day long. So personally I’m very happy apple have made a matte / nano screen, and for much cheaper option than on Pro Display XDR.

Congrats! I hope the matte screen works out for you. And if it doesn’t, you’ll be able to return it and get a normal glass display without further delay.

If only Apple had included the height adjustment on all the non-VESA ASDs without charging so much more.

Hope it helps, because my window of delivery is Now thru the 26th of April and thus far it’s still in process. ☹️

If the VESA mount ASDs were as easy to get as the tilt-adjustable ones apparently are, I’d consider a desktop stand that attaches to the monitor’s VESA adapter. Not as elegant as Apple’s tilt/height stand, but much cheaper.

Ordered my ASD (standard glass, tilt stand) on 3/28 using ship-to-store, original "ready by" date was 4/27. Just shipped yesterday, order status says "3-4 weeks" for delivery to store, but chat with Apple rep said it would be delivered on or before 4/27 as originally promised. Fingers crossed!
 
Mine came yesterday after being delayed a few times; loving it so far after getting to know it a bit.
I had an audio issue with using some of my other gear at first but figured it out and all seems good so far, fingers crossed.

I’ve decided I’m happy with the nano (matte) texture. Does a good job of hiding reflections in my sun filled garden studio. It def makes the image slightly softer tho. If I was in a normal room the normal screen texture would def be best, but for my situation I’m really happy with the nano.

Glad to hear that the tradeoff between sharpness and reflectivity works for you! In my office, there are windows behind my monitor, so I have to keep the blinds closed to eliminate reflections on my iMac's glass screen.

Well, still no movement on my order - just chatted Apple again and was given a whole canned response about how they're working hard to get my order to me as soon as possible with the current world events, etc. Looks like I'm in shipping limbo!

Interesting. Your delivery window hasn’t changed and the order shows “processing”, but you got an email saying it’ll be delivered in a couple days? That’s odd, but I hope the email is correct.

My window is April 29-May 6, having been revised once. Still processing.

Yes odd at first but now the Apple Order site changed to Delivery on the 27th. Can't explain it. Goofy Year I guess

Monitor was already in Tennessee all along and that’s where it shipped from
 
I have an order through Apple, with delivery 02-07 June. I just ordered an “open box” excellent condition one from Best Buy that says it will delivery by this Friday! I will wait to cancel my Apple order until I confirm that it will be here and that the condition is acceptable.
