I just realized today I hooked my ATV3 up to my 5ghz router which is config'd to only broadcast on 5ghz channels (I have a different router for 2.4ghz stuff).

And its working fine. So does this mean 802.11n-5ghz is confirmed?

You speak of the ATV 3 like it will play all 1080p content. All we know is that Apple built it to be able to play Apple's 1080p content. We know 1080 from Apple is not much bigger than its 720p. I want to know if it can handle a 30+ gig movie flawlessly like my Boxee Box does.

I do it that way, because it will, that processor can handel it no problem,

Now that it looks like a confirmed 512mb ram in aTV3, does anyone think we'll see an app store for it any time soon, if ever?

I hope so.

Yes, I connected mine to the 5ghz radio in my Netgear dual router and it works great.

I also have the previous version roku which has the 5ghz radio, as well as the xbox adapter which uses 5ghz. I like to keep as many devices off 2.4 (especially HD video streaming) as I can.
