Apps Apple TV Home Screen Previews

When did the Apple TV Home Screen or landing page (not sure what to call it) stop playing previews of Apple Movies and TV Shows?

When you had the Apple TV icon in the first row highlighted it use to show different Movie and TV show previews unless you swiped and it would go full screen and let you view the full previews etc.

Suddenly that's gone and I have not been able to read why or find out why? The Apple TV app simply displays the Apple Logo on a generic background. (see screen shots) The other apps on the first row still show previews. If you tap into the Apple TV app they show like normal.

It never did stop, still working ok here.

I however prefer to have it set to Continue Watching.

Interesting, I have 3 ATV's and they all do it, I checked my neighbors and their ATV's are like mine with no preview video and I checked family members who live in a different City. Theirs also does not show the preview anymore.

They all have the generic screen with the Apple Logo like in the screen shot.

Ok so have done some checking and I’d say the issue seems to be on the US side as with my UK account on both of my Apple TV’s the video previews work without issue, but with my US account it’s just the Apple TV logo.

The Apple TV previews began showing up again just like in the past. Clearly Apple was doing something in the backend.

It was causing my mild OCD to one eye the TV all the time and create dumb forum threads

Yeah I noticed it to over the weekend and most of today. It started showing the "What to Watch" again for me an hour or so ago (East Coast USA).

I thought it might be something with my profile and running iOS/iPadOS 27 betas and screwing up my AppleTV somehow since it is still on 26, but must have just been an Apple backend issue.
