thanks for the tip. worked brilliantly. i can even sync with my UK ATV and watch on the big screen. brilliant.

now, if only we could make the ATV somehow look to the US store direct. then we could get HDef movies......

does anyone know if this is possible.... highly unlikely, but then again it took literally 5 mins to con myself a US iTunes account, so maybe anything is possible.

I assume that if you just use your username and password that you used to create your US store account, it should take you straight to the US store.

Sign in with your US Account and it takes you there. Congrats to both of you getting the Videos and what not.

ahhhhhhh, interesting.
i can't remember where or if i signed in with an iTunes account on the Apple TV...?
would i have done that when i first set it up.... i don't remember doing that.

would i have to do a factory re-set maybe..?

US store sign up

Hi all,
I've got a US gift card code and am going through the account creation process on iTunes but am being prompted for credit card details (at the top of the page and they're mandatory). Surely the average member of public should be able to redeem a voucher without having to submit credit card details?

I saw in an earlier post someone mentioned that non mandatory credit card details may appear at the bottom of the sign-in page. Is there some way of getting this to appear?

Thanks in advance.
