Actually a lot of people with DirecTV are kind of fanatical like this too, especially with the HD DVR's. Maybe not quite as bad, but we get pretty excited with new software updates - check out dbstalk.com.
Only reason for me to think that's not true is that the iTunes store is still not updated...
umm...world of warcraft anyone? lol. tuesday patches are what people live/die for in that game.

See the weird thing to me, is that the US music store has been bugging out lately, but if you click on the left and right arrows on the main store, it goes to the new albums sold today, but still gets reset once circling through it all. Also if you go to the specific genres, it reflects the new albums.

I wouldnt hold my breath for a release today... maybe this week Read the press release it says "The new Apple TV software will be available as a free automatic download to all Apple TV customers later this month."

iTunes has been acting funky today. I think there might be some bugs on the back-end that they are working out at the last minute. Once iTunes is back to normal I think they will release the update. I'm thinking 5PM Central Time (ish).

The Florida Republican Primary is tonight and something HAS to distract me from it.
