Can Anyone break down the difference between the Apple iPhone Installments compared to the Apple iPhone upgrade program? Im leaning more toward the iPhone installments because i don't care for the apple care. Want to really know with the iPhone installments program can you pay off the phone whenever you want like the iPhone upgrade program?
Am I thinking about this correctly that it's cheaper to go through Verizon's device payment plan? They give you a discount off the monthly access fee. I'm assuming you don't get that same discount if you get the phone through Apple's program. Is that right?
Numbers don't add up.Installments are the price of the phone broken out of 24 months. No annual upgrade. No AppleCare plus.
iPhone upgrade program is the price of the phone plus the price of apple care broken up over 24 months. Annual upgrade.
Thank you. Do you know if you can pay it off early or are you stuck with the monthly payments?

The most expensive iPhone is 969+tax=1055 (in NYC)
With program: 45.75*24=1098
So, are they selling AppleCare for 1098-1055=43 dollars?
That I don't know. But I thought 45.75 is all they charge you per month? When you enroll in the IUP do you pay taxes up front?
So, are you saying my first-month payment would be 45.75 + tax of the full-price iPhone?
What does Apple do/give you if you have a 6 (64gig)? Do they take it and give you a credit?

Ugh, then the program is so not worth it.

If we go with the Apple Upgrade Plan, to avoid the monthly payments, can we just pay for the first 12 months at one time?
No. It just gets you closer to owning the phone and you would have 12 payments left.
I read Apple upgrade program needs to be bought with a credit card only ? Is this true I already have an att account
I'm ****ed I really can't use a a debit card wtfIt is true. It's documented on their site.
After you sign up got AUP can you pay it off early or do you have to make monthly payments?
You get the same discount as long as the line is out of contract.Am I thinking about this correctly that it's cheaper to go through Verizon's device payment plan? Yes.So if I use the AUP to get the iPhone 7, and then next September, I get the iPhone 7S, and let's say keep the 7S for over 2 years, will I only have paid for half of an iPhone 7 and the full price for the iPhone 7S?
If that wasn't clear, do I effectively only pay for half of each phone if I upgrade each year?
