A decade from now it'll be but a distant memory. Tech development is constantly accelerating. The landscape will look very different.
The iPhone has now been around ten years. It will definitely still be around in two more years.
Why not the Apple Watch?

Actually less than 8 Years (June 2007).
Definitely the Watch of today will not be what we have in 10 years, but the iPod Classic lasted 13 years on its own with improvements over time. And as someone pointed out, it's been eight years since iPhone hit the scene and at its core, it's not radically different.
We just had a breakthrough in the basic form factor of watches, namely smartwatches, so we'll be good to go for quite a while. The last breakthrough in cellular phones (i.e., touchscreen phones) is still going strong in year 8.
And how's the last breakthrough in TVs (3D TVs) going?
For the future I'm envisioning a flexible gauntlet type of gadget that you wear on your forearm that has Bio sensors embedded in it. It would contain your medical history, identification, banking info and other personal information.
Assuming it is still around in 10 years I would hope that they would find a way to charge it wirelessly while you are wearing it, so as long as you're in the same room as the charger for an hour or two a day it'll never have a dead battery.
But I'm guessing that wearables will go the way of 3D TVs and not really take off.
Or an Anal Probe that sends information to your watch at all times

Full of electronics would be interesting

Actually, it was announced on Jan 9, 2007. So 8 years is accurate.
Two distinctively different products are best left out of a comparison.
How old are you?
Of course they can be used for comparison. Perhaps you should reread the posts preceding mine. The point was made whether the Watch will still be around in a decade. Obviously I don't know and neither do you so the only instrument for measurement we have is to look at past performance of other products.

Personalizing in an effort to be critical and start something is a bad choice.
It's obvious you aren't hesitant to break forum rules.
Where's your self respect?
I love my 3D TV (projector actually) although it is very difficult to get good content for it these days
