Depends on whether u get a sport or regular one. My sport one got a lot of scratches after a short period of time. My SS is still pristine (after a little polish with a Cape Cod cloth)
...I'm getting the Space Grey 42mm Sports Edition.
I've bought this one:

It full coverages but it's completely hard to apply without dusts or bubbles. I'm about to return it but I need a protection because I've got scratches on the curve edge of the watch.
..yea, these are the wet install types. I'm pretty good at installing these without bubbles. I have a wet install Gadget Wrap on my current watch - the Pebble Time Steel, and it doesn't have a single bubble on the screen. You have to spray the screen protector so its dripping wet, before applying it. You then squeegee out the water to leave a bubble free installation. Like I said, I'm pretty good at doing these bubble free!
I bought a Spigen case for mine, the slim fit one as the other case looked to bulky. In my line of job I need one, when im at home or the gym the case is off.
Although when I was moving house I had the fridge in my hands, caught the door the case pinged off didn't think much off (and of course was holding a fridge) carried on for another 15-20 minutes before putting in back on whilst moving the bulky items. Later that night I noticed I'd scratched the top of my AW, wish I had stopped to put it back on now. Must have done it when I was moving the bulkier items and catching the door again.
..yea, see I've seen many reviews on YouTube for all of Spigen's Apple Watch protectors and all the reviews have slated all of the products - too bulky, look ugly, too easy to ping off, etc!
I've actually already got a set of these:
http://store.ozakiverse.com/new/289-ocoat-wardrobe-apple-watch-case-42mm-gold.html (bought them before I actually buy my watch!!!!
) so may just try that Spigen flexishield linked above - at least that covers the whole screen as opposed to the tempered glass, which only cover the flat area of the screen.

This totally depends on you. Watches are wear items. So, you need to decide for yourself how rough you might be on a watch and how important it is to keep a watch pristine (for example, if you want to sell it as pristine). An Internet forum cannot answer either of those for you.
I wear mine daily and it only has one tiny blemish on the case that is barely noticeable. I wore a watch daily before getting the AW, so I was already accustomed to guarding my wrist a little from hitting things. I do not expect to sell it pristine when I replace it with a next generation. I will get what I can get.
..I have to agree with you! I think I am pretty careful - I haven't yet knocked my Pebble Time Steel, and that is not protected (apart from just on the screen). The Apple Watch, does certainly look pretty ACE without any cases on it I guess!
