Apple Watch Protection - Is it Necessary?

One thing I do like about it is the fact that it covers up the corners of my Spigen Flex HD wet install shield (the corners keep peeling up even though it was a perfect install). Gonna keep this look for a while to see how I get on!

I think that looks really great. I had a Armor Shield film on the screen of my gold Aluminum AW2 and one corner kept coming up. I had a bumper similar to yours in a shiny gold coating but it wrapped all the way to the back of the watch with just an opening for the sensors. A lot of debris and gunk would catch on the back of the watch under the bumper. I like the style of yours better since it doesn't go to the back of the watch.
