Interesting comment about pink and gender.

Of course, colors themselves have no gender. But, in the history of western culture, pink used to be for both boys and girls. Here's an article: https://www.cnn.com/2018/01/12/health/colorscope-pink-boy-girl-gender/index.html
This is like saying some women love MMA. Yes of course some women do. And some men love pink. But in the current American culture we live in pink is preferred by women for most things. I have some great pink business shirts…but that doesn’t change the fact a pink watch is mostly being marketed to women.

I was responding to the person who was implying not to judge him for liking pink. So I posted the article from CNN about how pink used to culturally be seen as a color for both boys and girls. I said nothing about what is being marketed to whom.

As much as I would like color on my Apple Watch, I continue to buy the darkest option because it pairs well with more bands. I would love a red or blue, but then I feel you're more limited with the color of the band.
I feel the same way. When I bought my Ultra, I opted to get the dark green alpine loop instead of the orange one. I think the orange actually looks a lot better but the green being a lot more muted would match a wider array of clothing.

I kinda regret it. Lol. I still think that green alpine loop color is a bit ugly. Wish I had gone with the bright orange

I left the bright colored band at the Apple Store and transferred my silver stainless steel Milanese band from my existing iWatch to the Ultra. It is a close enough color match for me and I like the infinite adjustability of this design.

The Apple Watch is dead…

…to me anyway.

I’m tired of that boring black square on my wrist that everyone else seems to have. Since I generally always wear it with my phone nearby or in my pocket, it doesn’t seem to add anything useful to my life. I do use it for working out, but ordered a Oura Ring and that’ll take the place of that. I’m going back to my watch collection. I miss the bling and the variability from day-to-day.

Shame that Apple didn’t pump up the fashion with a range of models that look good on one’s wrist. Bye Apple Watch. I don’t think I’ll miss you…
I agree with you.

Completely bored of mine.

Selling it.

I look forward to seeing the pink. My first AW was a Series 2 in “rose gold” that I thought was just pink. I actually liked it better than my Series 4 rose gold.

It doesn't look like Apple Watch hold there value this was my first year that I bought an Apple Watch which was a series 8 cellular but the prices I see on ebay are really low. I just sold my watch but I don't think I'll buy back another one since it depreciate too fast $500 to $300 or even lower is there a reason why they drop so fast?

This looks beautiful! Excited to see what shade of pink apple is going to use. As much as I loved the Rose Gold of the series 2 and iMac, i wonder if they are gonna go for the pink on the 13, or the pink on the new 10.1 iPad or match it with the upcoming pink iphone 15 (most likely the latter).

Too saturated for Apple's taste. Unfortunately I think the render in MacRumors' original post is accurate to what we'd get. Just a slight pink shade on top of starlight.

And, as far as pink bands go, there's really only ever been one good one, and it's now worth double its retail price.

Rounded up some of my pink bands just to show everyone what Apple does with the color pink.

Left to right:
Pink, Vintage Rose, Pink Oxford/Rose Whisper, Light Pink, Light Violet/White, Pink Blast/Black, & Dragon Fruit.

You can see the one Apple calls "Pink" is a joke, hanging out way over on the orange side of the slider.

Light Pink is the closest to just "Pink" Apple has done, and as such it fetches heavy prices and low availability on resell. I think I could get $100 for this one, easily. Even then, it's certainly light.

Green is SERIOUSLY overdue. It’s a well loved colour yet where is it in their line up. They’re APPLE after all. Not every female wants pink, but many females like other colours that don’t look as heavy as black or navy. Very disappointed not to find green or pale blue in the selection. *yawn*
