Apple Watch SS Series 0 Battery bulged - How hard really is DIY replacement?

Yeah definitely should be $79 battery service if they won't do it for free because of the design flaw that apple just doesn't want to admit and recall. Let's hope it's an SS S2 or S3.

I read about the battery swell flaw in the originals. Some on YouTube only had those watches for a few months before the problem started. Me, I'm shocked it took 5 years.

Yeah, a S2 would be really nice.
Sure, S3 would be amazing....although I kind of highly doubt that. If that happens, I'd be shocked and thrilled.

Yep, I got the email Friday night the replacement watch has been shipped, Nice surprise because I checked the repair status earlier Friday and it still said "pending." It just arrived about 45min ago from FedEx.

It is the same black stainless steel model 1st Gen Apple Watch, just a different serial number obviously. Just finished charging to 50+% I'll sync it up soon.

So far so good, I'm happy with the replacement.
