Apple Watch Ultra Trail Loop Bands

It appears the Apple Watch Trail Loop band is in shortage or something. Does anyone else know? It doesn't seem even the reviewers have received a trail loop. Anyone else ordered one with an expected delivery before October or November?
I read a couple of users on Reddit have gotten the trail loop. I just found it interesting not seeing any anywhere.
I think I saw AWUs with Trail Loops when I first checked the Apple website right after they went up for sale, but they disappeared really quickly. Odd fact (maybe): delivery dates for at least some of the AWU/Trail Loop combinations are running well ahead of the delivery dates for the same size/color Trail Loop. So if you haven't already purchased the AWU and you want the Trail Loop band, check out the delivery dates for what you're looking for.
In the meantime, the 44mm/45mm Sport Loops (regular and Nike versions) fit, work and (IMHO) look great on the AWU, though I don't think they'd provide as much security, if you're doing things that might put a lot of inertial energy into your AWU (someone reported boxing while wearing an AWU). The Trail Loop has the same titanium strap ends that the other AWU bands have, compared to the molded-on plastic ends of the regular Sport/Nike loops, and it has a secondary "locking" arrangement.

The were impossible to find when the watch was introduced. There are none to be had. I have one on order but it is like November before delivery. If you want an Ultra, don’t order with trail band.
Keep an eye on Amazon if you don't mind a generic. Just received 3rd party Alpine band and can't really tell the difference.
I ordered from Amazon with a ship date of 10/13 to 10/31. We'll see if they deliver before November.
My order (Black/Grey Trail Loop) is estimated mid November to early December, hopefully it will arrived sooner rather than later.
Ebay has some pretty cheap knock-offs that deliver before November / December!Would you mind posting a link?

Got my Ultra on Friday. I wanted the trail loop but I wanted the watch sooner. I'm not paying $100 for the trail loop when it's available. I like the alpine loop more than I thought anyway. And, I can use my Nike bands.
I wonder what the comparison will be like between the Trail Loop and the Sports Loop that already exists. Both appear to be a nylon fabric. Both use velcro or something similar for adjustment. Both have a lug on one side of the band for the fabric to loop around.
So far the differences appear:
1. The lug is titanium vs. plastic on the Trail Loop.
2. It costs $50 more for the Trail Loop.
Remaining questions are:
1. Is the Trail Loop wider? The Ocean Band is exactly the same width as 45mm bands (the Alpine is wider than 45mm bands). I'm not talking about the connection to the watch, I know it is compatible with all 42/44/45/49 watches, I'm talking about the width of the band itself.
2. Is the fabric somehow more comfortable on the Trail Loop.
All in all I'm not sure there is a value proposition in the Trail Loop when Apple is already selling a nearly identical band.

These do not look like the Apple Trail bands for the Ultra. The look like the Alpine Loop.
It is 100% that these are fake bands. There is no chance big reviewers don't get them but a bunch of randomers on Reddit do. You can buy the fake trail loops for 20 USD or so on Alibaba, eBay etc.
I know store employees don't usually have inside information, but after 3 trips to my local store in the last week, one of my favorite employees said they were told there would be a release of Trail Loop bands Friday. I am assuming this means available for in store pickup that day as shipping is obviously 8-10 weeks out. This may or may not be accurate but it won't hurt to keep an eye on your local inventory on Friday. Thankfully I have nothing else to do that morning except a few refreshes on the Apple Store app.
You can get all the Alpine bands tomorrow at stores, yet all the Trail bands are out two months?
And the Oceans are out weeks also. This seems a bit lopsided. I haven't tried these bands, but who has?
