Doesn't Apple give you an extended grace period to signup for AppleCare? Best Buy is an authorized reseller, it shouldn't be a problem adding Apple Care directly from Apple after the sale.Question. If I buy an Ipad from BestBuy w/ AppleCare (all through bestbuy) and decide to return within 14 days, will be bestbuy refund both the iPad and AppleCare? Or will I have to get reimbursement for the AppleCare from Apple?
Just iPhone. You have 1 year to buy AppleCare plus on iPhones and iPads from date of purchase
And the standard is still 60 days on an iPhone/iPad. You can complain and cause a scene and someone will have to approve a post 60-day request. It's not like anyone can walk in with a perfectly working iPhone on day 364 and waltz out with AppleCare+ with zero questions or hassle.Just iPhone.
They changed it recently. Can add AppleCare Plus to iPhone any time up to one year. Obviously has to be inspected. And the standard is still 60 days on an iPhone/iPad. Hmm, not entirely true. They changed it recently. Can add AppleCare Plus to iPhone any time up to one year. Obviously has to be inspected.
iOS devices have always been 60 days...and they still are. Computers are 1-yr from purchase, although the new Applecare+ for computers is 60 day as well.According to https://www.apple.com/support/products/ipad.html and https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202702, iPad is only 60 days.
"Important notes
Purchase AppleCare+ with your new iPad. Or buy it within 60 days of your iPad purchase:"
That also says 60 days for iPhones which someone else here mentioned is 1 year, so if going to push the 60 day limit it may be wise to contact Apple directly for clarification. I too thought you got a 1 year period to buy it with just about every device or computer, but maybe they changed that or maybe they just never updated their documentation.
