Apple allows a Google Play Music app for iOS so not sure Google could legally prohibit an Apple/Beats app with similar features.

Why can't a purchasing element be included in the Beats app? Alternatively, the Beats Android app could be a content delivery only app that requires signup and payment via web browser. Any buy links in the app would launch a buy web page.

Or Apple could have people sideload , therefore getting whatever Apple wants in the app, which would be crazy, too crazy. Amazon does it, but only for their app store

Again, not sure of the restrictions. I believe Apple has some anti-competitive restriction in their ToS (why they recently removed and app that specified compatibility with a Pebble) so wasn't sure if Google could do the same. And the Google Play apps aren't exactly the same because there is no ability to purchase content through those apps. It could be included but Google would have to then give Apple their 30% cut. Same goes for Google Play I believe--can't see Apple sharing 30% with Google. And unlike Google Play, there is no iTunes web portal to purchase content.
