Apple's Lineup Is A Disaster (Opinion)

Well kudos for trying to think of a new system. Probably needs some tweaking but not too bad. I think Apple is messing up trying to get their tablets to replace notebooks. They should focus on innovating the tablet to the point that people want to use the tablet over the notebook but right now, for people who need to use laptops, tablets are not better.

For the rest of the lineup, Apple is caught in a board of directors influence of trying to best quarterly earnings instead of delivering great products to consumers which is now the secondary focus. It will be years IF Apple ever steps out of that. The good days are slowly fading away.

I reckon the assumption is just "We don't have the same as everyone else" as in million devices to choose from, but we will "try" and make it easier by introducing a mixture of naming schemes that confuses the user...

We will get to a stage, Apple will be forced to to change their line, because this will be one of those "forever" type tings...At some point, like like old models, u must retire them... I think the same should be true with product lines.
