Computing Forever (Dave) is a hater, his views on everything have become very dark. He's mostly known now for his videos on politics, social justice, regressive liberals etc etc anymore.

It's like watching Ted Kaczynski do tech reviews. Seriously....it's that bad. If he doesn't have a use for a feature then it must be a useless gimmick right?

I unsubscribed from his channel a while back due to his ever increasing dark nature and closed mindedness. Later I see a video he made talking about how he's losing subscribers because YouTube is secretly doing this because of their far left (political) views!! I nearly fell out of my chair!

Anyway I suggest taking his OPINION with a grain of salt and forming your own OPINION. Surely no one here needs help forming their own opinions right? Lol

I agree with this. I used to like him but lately he just wines and complains so much.

My Apple Stock indicates that Apple is doing just fine.

I am for the first time considering other laptops rather than just Apple laptops for my company. I am getting rather miffed by the lake of ports for the sake of thin. I would not care if the new MBPro 15 was TWICE as thick if they would put the ports back. I know it is not going to happen and that is why I bought one of the last MBPro 13" non-retina . . .it even has a CD drive inside! For doing my Office and Quickbooks the non-retina screen is perfect!
I don't think Apple is doomed or that it won't change from making enormous profit, or that stock will take much of a hit.

But the top line products and infra structure I have come to rely on won't be the top of the line. If they stop making the add on stuff. If I can stay away from tinkering with my computers, phones, iPads, Apple TV and wifi I am happy.

I really enjoy my apple AirPort Extreme because of how easy the setup has been and what great performance I have been getting. In my opninion, these add ons, while not super money makers are what make the overall experience a pleasure.

Trying to make a fashion statement, or fooling with Apple Store is not what I am looking for. Store should have stock and be place to go with super customer service.

I was expecting to be blown away by the MacBook Pro. I wasn't and issues that are cropping up just shouldn't be for the premium price they are charging.

I had a fully loaded MacBook Pro 15 on order but has since cancelled it after hearing about all the problems. Looking for something thicker with ports!;)

I know the news hitting the front page of MacRumors regarding the new laptop is very un-apple like.
Windows drivers - damaging the laptop (have since been updated)
battery life - much less then advertised
Graphical issues
SIP disabled on new Macs
Processors seem slower

Granted, some of these are teething problems with a gen 1 product but the fact remains you're spending over 2k for a machine and there's an expectation of getting a premium experience for the premium price.

Also some MacBooks weren't even displaying the dedicated GPU in their "about Mac" menu
