Some Photoshop work I did a few years back for @A.Goldberg who wanted a gold-colored TiBook as his MacRumors avatar. :D

Nice work! Imagine what could have been if Apple had color options on their Pro level hardware back then. And the TiBook is an impressive machine for its time, especially the metal design and thickness. It was rivaling some lower end Windows laptops for thickness until pretty recently, almost 20 years after it came out. I have one that was trashed when I got it, and I replaced the top case with a NOS one that a guy on ebay was selling. It doesn't get used much since I'm kinda scared to mess it up. I normally go for the AlBook instead. It is a beautiful piece of design and engineering to set up on the desk though.

And I agree about the nostalgia that old technology can carry. My parents fired up their old PC the last time I was over there, and it was full of my old school projects and photos from years ago. It was really fun to dig through it all.

Nice. My first TiBook got very hot with only 128 gigs of ram I think.

I called Apple about the heat (which melted some packaging plastic) who told me that they did not consider Tibooks to be "laptops" but "Notebook" computers that had to be on a desk where the tiny rubber feet would assure proper airflow and prevent overheating...

The fans on my TiBook were the reason laptops were banned in bed by my wife. :D

All that heat and small amount of EMF isn't good in the bedroom for many reasons! They were so beautiful, though and your gold photoshop is outstanding. Somewhere I thought there was a black or different colored prototype that made it to eBay some years ago.
