Finally after a crappy day I have updated both my iPad and iPhone to the newly released iOS 11.2 in Software Updates and am happy to say I have no more issues with either crashing.

I updated to iOS 11.2 but now my iPhone keeps asking me for my password/TouchID randomly when it's locked. Anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Happened to my mom’s iPhone 7+. iOS 11.1.2 is a f’n disaster. I’ll report back when I update her phone to iOS 11.2.

My 6+ is running iOS 11.2 beta and did not have this issue. My wife’s 7+ seems to be fine though. She is on iOS 11.1.2. LOL. So seems really random.

I do. I've set my time zone to several in US (east coast) and Europe/Africa and had no issue whatsoever. Been testing this for over an hour. Moving along... nothing to see here. (Also confirmed by F&F on the east coast).
You are on 11.2 beta yes? Thats why no issue for you. And clearly there WAS/IS an issue :)

Got to love the people that say no story just because they haven't had an issue themselves, that has to be the most stupid and unhelpful way of thinking around. Plenty of people don't have an app that has a scheduled reminder or whatever is causing this, fortunately my parents both on 11.1.2 on two 6s's didn't but if they did and had this bug happen and couldn't use their phones all day and told me, I wouldn't have said "no, you don't as I don't have it on my phone, you must be making it up."

Just a little update. iOS 11.2 has fixed my mom’s iPhone. So for those affected, do update to iOS 11.2 as soon as possible.

This past week has been an absolutely embarrassing week for Apple software

My iPhone 7 plus keeps going black and spinning wheel then back to the login page over and over. Doesn't matter what app I am in or what I am doing. I tried turing off several times. I tried changing the auto lock to 5 minutes. I am trying to download the newest update but it keeps locking up.

Use iTunes and do the upgrade that way.

What a pain in the ass. Mine started to constantly reboot (7 Plus) this morning to the point it was unusable. Noticed the 11.2 update had downloaded overnight. I'm going to apply it & hope it fixes this issue...!
