yes, a couple of crashes here. I hope it only happens when using new apps, and doesn't effect the stability of the phone for making calls, doing email, etc.
I know this thread has been a couple of weeks old, but has anyone found any way to fix the crashing apps?
Things were going fine for me for so long, but now I cannot open all but 1 app. They keep crashing when they are trying to open. This is driving me crazy.

You can try rebooting, deleting and reinstalling apps, and all those other tricks. Unfortunately I find them to only be a temporary fix. I think we're S.O.L. until Apple decides to finally release 2.0.1 to stabalize things. In some cases it's the apps themselves that's the problem. But in most cases, I find it's the buggy 2.0 firmware.
Ive had apps crash and not open what so ever.
I just restore as new iphone. then it works for a while til i have to restore again because of some new app.
I have restored as a new iphone 5 times since i got my iPhone3G.
The 1st gen has only been restored once. I should take it back from my lil girl and give her mine.
I've been searching for a Flickr app that can upload my photos to the net, and every single one i've downloaded thus far just crashes as soon as I load it (MoPhoto, AirMe, etc). YouNote crashes upon loading as well :-( Pretty frusterating, especially since these are from the app store...
They went through several things, which included a restore, and still no go.
Then we completely restored the firmware and didn't use any backups so that we were at a completely fresh install with 2.0.1, and then reconnected it to iTunes and sync'd all the programs on, and guess what.... the apps STILL crash after less than 1 second of trying to load.
I was in a hurry tonight when I spoke to them the 2nd time, so they are ringing back tomorrow morning to continue trouble-shooting with me (I have been dealing mainly with Product Specialists - so not the normal helpdesk staff).
I will let you know how I go. I am using iPhone 3G, with a Macbook Pro (running 10.5.4, and iTunes 7.7.1).
Hopefully we can fix the problem with my apps crashing all the time.
