iPhone Apps Opening and Then Closing

Install iFile from Cydia and open the file /var/mobile/Library/Caches/com.apple.mobile.installation.plist with the PropertyList editor.

Navigate to System -> com.apple.calculator and add a new key CodeInfoIdentifier, type String

set the value to the same as you see in CFBundleIdentifier, so for calculator this is com.apple.calculator

Same for weather: Navigate to System -> com.apple.weather and add key CodeInfoIdentifier (string) with com.apple.weather as value.

Reboot device and both apps should work again.

This is happening to me too after restoring to 7.0.6, jailbreaking, installing pkgbackup and restoring my jb apps, and then restoring from backup in itunes. I have tons of apps opening and then closing (Weather, Calculator, Mail and Safari just to name a few).

Other than restoring and setting up as new (which I DO NOT want to do because it will be a huge headache for me), what can I do?

Does it make sense to just remove my jb tweaks and reinstall them one by one?

Nope. I tried that. Seems like one of the preference files that PKGbackup puts is screwing something up, so until the dev figures it out and updates PKGbackup, I don't think there will be a way around it.

However, I did find that if you do an upgrade and then re jailbreak then re-download the tweaks, the preferences still stay, so you don't have to re-set up the tweaks.

Ok - I'll try that then. I already restored again and installed my jb tweaks again manually. Next, I'll try to restore from backup in itunes and see if everything is back in place and working properly. I'll report back if something isn't right.

Having this issue too. The apps causing problems for me are Photos, Camera and Facebook. Also Settings crashes when I try to open Wallpaper and Backgrounds.

I don't have any font tweaks installed, but I do have Springtomize 3 which has font options, so maybe that's what's causing it.

Can anyone confirm, if I uninstall and reinstall Springtomise will it remember all my settings?
