i filed my claim TODAY on the website after it went live. not during the brief uptime yesterday. code says that it's been used. dang...
Not true. I'm in Chicago and it says the code has already been used.US gets the "not valid code" , and all other countries get the "it's been used" error.

That was Apple's plan all along. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAI received the same error as well. I emailed them about it. No return email as of yet. I wonder if the same code was sent out to everyone by chance...

I'll wait and save myself the $20 since I am entitled to it until this is fixed. I bet a lot of people are just purchasing it because they don't want to wait.
I'm in the US and getting the "Already Redeemed" error. I just talked to Apple Care (9:10 Central) and was told to retry the code in 1 hour and then call back if it still isn't working.
