apple has done pretty well in the past few months tho. we got a new labtop, the new imac.. both with intel.. then just a month after we got a mac mini and the ipod hi fi, which is a totally new product from apple.
i wont be upset if they dont give us anything today. if anything it will probbaly late april, early may for new macbooks. ithey cant keep updating products this way.

why not? we know they have the chips, we know they fit those chips in to really small enclosures, we know they want to move everything to Intel asap, and as I said before, the ibooks (and 12" powerbook) have been out a long time.
They have the ability to release more, and it's in their interest to do so, so why should it matter if they've recently released a lot of new products?

This is why Apple hates rumor sites. You get all excited about something that isn't going to happen, then when it doesn't happen, you get mad. This site even said there was nothing coming a couple of days ago. You must have missed that thread. It was right there on the front page.

I am very disappointed too! Apple hasn't even put a message on their site commemorating their birthday. Wasn't it their 28th birthday (or something like that) when they redid the original ad and made a big deal about it. Where did all that go? Shouldnt the 30th be bigger!
It is not a big deal for me... I was planning on buying whatever was coming out this week in July so I can wait. I want to know what it is though.
