The launch of Apple Watch is just around the corner, we could have it on our wrists in just over a month, or in almost two months time!

Anyhow, I thought I'd make a poll for what week of April you think that Apple Watch will be released. So I've divided April into a number of weeks.

My personal prediction is Easter Weekend, Friday April 3rd, but maybe it'll be later.

What do you think? Vote in the poll!

I think the end of April

It would be a more 'Apple' thing to do, to drag it until the end of April. Although I'm hopeful they wanted a late March launch but pushed it back until early April for Easter Weekend as its a bank holiday.

The end of April would be most likely, I think. It gives them some more time to build up the hype before the actual thing goes on sale.

I think the first weekend is plausible and I'm hopeful that will be the release, but I just want Apple to nail this thing; so if an extra 2-3 weeks means potential bugs are squashed ... take your time Apple.

My heart says a media invite for the official Apple Watch launch will be sent out tomorrow. So that would mean first week of April release. I have to get it that week because I will be traveling the weeks after that.

My mind says, at the end of the day, it will be officially available to the public last week of April with the first week of April as the official media launch event.

April 24th

Apple seems to be wanting to take as long as possible to still meet its "Early 2015" criteria, and that is the last Friday of the month.

I know it's been talked about many times that April is inside the definition of early 2015 but in my opinion (I know nobody cares about my opinion) Apple ******** up this time

18th or 24th of April, for the U.S. at least. It wouldn't surprise me if an international launch didn't happen for at least a couple of weeks after. On the UK site, it still says 'Available in 2015' as opposed to 'Coming Early 2015' on the American site.

Would be similar to how the iPad and iPhone were launched, and would give them time to gauge demand and to fix any show-stopping bugs before it was sold to a wider market.

I'm wanting it to be the first Friday of April with an event in March. But life isn't perfect and they'll end up releasing it the 24th. Which is 2 months away :(:(:(

Earnings will most likely be the week of April 20th and I can see Apple wanting to have the Watch released prior to earnings so they can talk about the first week or two of the Watch launch.

My best guess is prior to April 17th for this reason.

April 10.

I feel Apple wanted a March launch but was hit with delays that pushed them into April. I'd say April 3 but that's the Friday before Easter, and I can't see them launching a brand new product on a major holiday weekend.

Edit: I was mistaken, see below.

They launched the iPad on Easter weekend.

The Vogue ad is a sign that ... a real major announcement is imminent as in before this weekend? :D

Or should we wait for a similar comprehensive ads in major Tech and Male fashion magazines?

April 15th... tax day. Spend your refund on on Apple watch.

Not really. More people will more likely get their refunds a week or so if they file it that day. So April 24 is still a smart target along that reasoning. Some will get it earlier that's why we want it during the first week of April. :p

I just want to know how much the Rose Gold Edition will cost so I can see if I will buy it or the Stainless Steel version.
