The strap needs to be wider. It's ugly with the band not centered, but that's what happens when you put it on (1st pic).
I do find it immensely more comfortable than the Milanese Loop, though. It looks much better with the 22mm band stolen from my Pebble (2nd and 3rd pic).

Nice review!!!

I just ordered my 22mm bands. I'm hoping they start selling the adapters alone soon. Not feeling like ordering three of these bands just to get rid of the tacky leather strap and keep the mechanism.

But feeling tempted

I think 24mm might be the ticket. I just ordered the same one for the adapter, and this mesh bracelet. Hopefully they will fit together. But if not, I'll just send them back.

I was able to get this band/case on Amazon https://www.lunatik.com/products/apple-watch/epik-aluminum however the next day they took it down? Three weeks later I received the unit and it is the best I have seen so far. It is also a kick starter from lunatic.com and not available yet however I think I received a prototype or counterfeit version. The fit was not perfect but looks and wares great. It makes the watch look bigger. I spend a lot of time working on my boat so the extra protection is welcomed. I have a large collection of watches and wear from 50mm to 60mm watches most of the time so the 42mm is tiny in my book. One main flaw (in my option) is lack of solid end link bands like the apple bands. The adaptors look cheap and "add on" looking. CRAP! I think the good bands will come from band makers not cell phone accessories company. Hadley Roma and others have made bands for decades including quick release bands for hundreds of watch brands. Not sure why it is taking so long? Maybe they want approval from apple prior to making bands. Still looking for black or gray SS band but would love titanium. The $400 for the apple SS band is too high as most high end watch companies only charge from $125 to $350 as they figure you spent 1k to 5k on the watch already.

I kind of expected eBay/Amazon to be inundated with cheap bands by now. I could get a £2 clear silicone phone case for my iPhone 6 before it even shipped and it fit so well I'm still using it now* - surely given Apple Watches have been in stores (to view) for weeks now there must be some bands out there?

I'm aware of Monowear, though those are a bit on the pricey side, and everything at the moment is "sold out" or for pre-order only. I have my watch now and I'd like to order a band that's ready to be posted to me.

Aside from that though, I've seen next to nothing. Am I missing something? I'm not necessarily looking for something cheap, just a nice mid price leather band that makes my Sport look a little less... sporty.

Side note: I've also backed 'Click' the Kickstarter funded device that allows any 22mm band to fit on the Apple Watch. Again though, this isn't shipping until May/June.

* how DID they do that by the way? Mass produced snugly fitting phone cases before anyone had even seen the phones. Madness.

I actually wanted to get a monowear black stainless steel band for my sport, but they were sold out, so I went with this one, and am actually super happy. This is one of the only 3rd party bands besides monowear that has the nicer looking adapters without the big gap that I have found. Plus it is less than half the price and was prime. For the money (like $53), it is definitely worth it!
