You're assuming I took offense. I guess disagreeing with you (from your perspective) also equates to being attacked and defaced. All I did was corrected your misunderstanding of "troll". And I see you took my "relax" suggestion to heart. Yes, it is fruitless. Lol.

Any Mac User who is well informed should know that M$ is a bad company and therefore should not be disagreeing with my comment about not using bootcamp because it validates Windoze usage.

For my own knowledge I'd like to know what exactly makes MS bad as compared to what makes Apple good? Is the dislike based on inferior products, or evil intent, or a little of both? But if evil intent, I want to know the juicy details! :)

There was a time where I really disliked MS but mostly because they had an inferior product that won the OS war. Yes, they did win, and if you want to look at straight numbers, they have still won, but their luster is quite dull these days IMO. Apple has always been a control freak and as it gets bigger that could become more onerous. Remember back it was because of Apple's insistence on total control, they lost the OS war. If you look at the ipad, instead of a more open platform, everything must be purchased through Apple's store. I'm not implying that is in any way evil, but why would that make Apple a "good" company as compared to MS?

a bigger library is available by using Boot Camp.

I don't even need to use bootcamp I think, because my new system is a hackintosh that I built. I'm not that big of a gamer, and I'm not sure if I want to or if it's worth the hassle for me to actually buy windoze and install it just to play the occasional game. I have managed to make it through many decades of life without ever touching windoze, and while I enjoy playing a good game, it's not that important to me on my list of priorities.

But thanks for everybody's comments!

I'll be checking out some demo versions of different games that people have mentioned. I'm liking the X-Plane demo so far that I've been checking out. I might just have to get myself one of those joysticks for that game and I'm also going to order the full version, as it's pretty cheap.
:)

My advice is to buy an Xbox or PS3 if you want to play good racing games.

You might be on to something right there!

The last console that I actually owned was a PS-1, and even on that, I enjoyed some of the driving games. Driver was great on that. So was Gran Turismo. I never did like GT 2 for some reason.
