i think there will be many updates in the near future for macs... apple is no longer under time lagging updates... if they are with intel they MUST update constantly.

how 'bout a meaningful update to the 17" and 20" models? People seem to have rapidly forgotten that the 24" is not the only imac out there.

Ummm....yes it is.

And we better not see upgrades for at least a year. I just got mine yesterday.;)

See, I don't even think that's true. I think the white MacBook looks so much nicer. The white may show fingerprints, but fingerprints wipe off easily... the oil from your hands that gets on the black one isn't so easy to make disappear.

but why would you try to touch your iMac every chance you get? :D
if you use a microfiber cloth it comes out easily
