I think as per the price point of view it will not be a good choice to buy an iPhone 16e it's not worth spending $599.you have better option In the same budget. Phone 16 is the better choice, especially if you plan to keep your phone for several years. You can go with the iPhone 16e if you don't mind missing out on a few high-end features.
That statement doesn't really ring true... the 16e will get support for as long, if not longer than the regular 16. As stated numerous times, all you're loosing is a wide angle camera that barely anyone uses. I'd take better battery life, better rear design and after going back to it, I actually prefer the notch to the island.

Still, it missing many features with that price point of view.

Many many features are on the 16 :

- Available in other colors

- An extra GPU core

- An Advanced dual-camera system

- Next-generation portraits with Focus and Depth Control (the iPhone 16e doesn’t even have the regular portrait mode… it has only the portrait for people so no objects)

- Macro photography

- Spatial photos and videos

- Latest-generation Photographic Styles

- 0.5 optical zoom

- Dynamic Island

- Latest-generation Ceramic Shield

- MagSafe wireless charging up to 25W (No MagSafe on the 16e)

- More nits (brighter iPhone) and available down to 1 nit.

- Sensor-shift optical image stabilization

- Cinematic mode for recording videos

- Action mode

- Macro video recording, including slo‑mo and time‑lapse

- QuickTake video (up to 4K at 60 fps in Dolby Vision HDR) (it only says : QuickTake video for the 16e… I guess you can choose 4K and 60 fps for the QuickTake on the iPhone 16)

- Sensor-shift optical image stabilization for video

- Second-generation Ultra Wideband chip (no ultra wideband on the 16e… this helps to localize AirTags or people (with iPhone 15 or later) precisely)

You are loosing 4h of battery and the c1 chip by picking the 16 but the camera is much better!

Many many features are on the 16 :

- Available in other colors - NOT A FEATURE

- An extra GPU core - NO ONE IS GOING TO NOTICE 1 CORE LESS

- An Advanced dual-camera system - 90% OF PEOPLE SOLELY USE THE MAIN LENS ON THEIR PHONE CAMERAS

- Next-generation portraits with Focus and Depth Control (the iPhone 16e doesn’t even have the regular portrait mode… it has only the portrait for people so no objects)

- Macro photography

- Spatial photos and videos - PEOPLE AREN'T THAT BOTHERED

- Latest-generation Photographic Styles - PEOPLE AREN'T THAT BOTHERED

- 0.5 optical zoom

- Dynamic Island - PEOPLE AREN'T THAT BOTHERED

- Latest-generation Ceramic Shield - PEOPLE AREN'T THAT BOTHERED

- MagSafe wireless charging up to 25W (No MagSafe on the 16e) - THE PEOPLE BUYING THE 16E AREN'T USING MAGSAFE ANYWAY

- More nits (brighter iPhone) and available down to 1 nit. - WOULD BE NICE, BUT BRIGHTNESS ISN'T THAT DIFFERENT IN REAL WORLD USAGE, ITS STILL BRIGHT ENOUGH TO USE IN SUNLIGHT

- Sensor-shift optical image stabilization - IT STILL HAS OPTICAL IMAGE STABILISATION THOUGH SO WILL BE FINE FOR MOST

- Cinematic mode for recording videos - PEOPLE AREN'T THAT BOTHERED

- Action mode

- Macro video recording, including slo‑mo and time‑lapse - PEOPLE AREN'T THAT BOTHERED

- QuickTake video (up to 4K at 60 fps in Dolby Vision HDR) (it only says : QuickTake video for the 16e… I guess you can choose 4K and 60 fps for the QuickTake on the iPhone 16) - PEOPLE AREN'T THAT BOTHERED

- Sensor-shift optical image stabilization for video - SENSOR SHIFT YOU'VE ALREADY MENTIONED

- Second-generation Ultra Wideband chip (no ultra wideband on the 16e… this helps to localize AirTags or people (with iPhone 15 or later) precisely) - AGAIN WOULD BE NICE, BUT NOT MISSED IF THEIR OLD PHONE NEVER HAD IT ANYWAY.

You are loosing 4h of battery and the c1 chip by picking the 16 but the camera is much better! - IT'S NOT A BETTER CAMERA, IT SIMPLY HAS A WIDE ANGLE LENS THAT NO ONE USES.
See above. You are missing the point, that this phone is not for everyone, it is for those who want or need what it offers and nothing more.

LOL. It's a useless list of “features” that people who look at 16e don't care about.

I know people cannot care about it but I was only answering someone who wanted to know the advantages of the iPhone 16 damn...

Only two things are missing, but also the 16/16 Pro don't have - smaller screen size option and TouchID.
