Looking at how the local Apple distributors jacking up the retail prices over the already inflated prices vs US in my country, even on old inventories (iPhone 7 through Xs) due to the weakening economy, probably not.

It's no longer making sense when a base 64GB iPhone 11 (non Pro) is more expensive than the 128GB Galaxy S20+.

I’m currently using an iPhone 8+ and am due an upgrade this year so based on the rumours I am fancying the iPhone 12 Max. Why? I really like the XR and 11 phones and am hoping this will be yet another improved version. If it doesn’t deliver on expectations, i’ll consider a discounted 11 Pro Max. We’ll see.

Currently using an iPhone X and will most likely upgrade. The X is still a great phone, but I’m looking forward to a smaller size (5.4”) and better cameras. If the storage is also doubled, then it seals the deal.

I currently have an XS, but if the 12 has the same flat edge design that the 12 pro is rumored to have, I'll likely get the 6.1 inch 12. If the 12 keeps the rounded edges, I'll most likely hang on to my XS for another year.

Because my aging iPhone 6 can’t run iOS 13 which is required for an Apple Watch.

But I’ll see if the 12 turns out as rumoured. I could also end up with discounted 11 Pro.

I will likely upgrade. Even though my 8+ is still meeting all my needs without any issues, I feel like it's time for something new after 3 years. Besides, by mom has a 6s+, and when I get a new phone I usually give her my old one, so she can get a nice upgrade with my 8+.

I think I will miss TouchID though, since it seems unlikely that there will be any version of it in any of the 12 lineup.

For me, it depends on the rumored 5.4" iPhone. I am currently very happy with my 11 Pro, but I would like a bit smaller device. However, I would not want to sacrifice performance. So, if the 5.4 is real, and if it has comparable specs to the 11 Pro, I might consider upgrading.

I am getting the iPhone 12 as I really want night mode camera option on my iPhone. Also for the size of the iPhone 12 5.4”. I really can’t wait to get rid of my xr once I upgrade.

This time of year I always say no. I have the 11 Pro Max and am very happy with it. However, once release day hits I get caught up with it all and end up with the new one. Happens every year. I've had every model of iPhone except the 4s and 5s so I don't suppose I'll stop now!
