My phone froze again today like it did on 10.0.3. Could swipe on screen but home and lock buttons were unresponsive until the phone caught up. :(

Update my friend told me the issue I have he saw it on a beta version of iOS 10.1,10 beta it's strange on the final release
Glitches exist. Nothing new or surprising about it. Why are we still on this? It's a glitch. You already said you'll contact Apple about it. Beyond that there's nothing to do but just move on. Rehashing it over and over isn't going to change anything.

And that doesn't change anything as far as what I said. Plenty of more expensive computers which run OSs and software that have glitches and bugs too.
Once I got the phone no software glitches found after updating down the road to new Updates bugs founded apps don't fix bugs apple add more bugs so us users complain and they fix months from now

If from the lock screen you can swipe to get to your widgets but can not swipe back to your lock screen, it is likely a software glitch. My 7+ allows me to do this over and over with out a glitch.

I have the same issue but it doesn't prevent me from accessing my widgets. I don't really use them, anyway.

We're trying to help Alex on another forum and it's going about the same there as it is here.

What should I do at this point

Try removing the screen protector.

If not just learn to live with this. It still works, but sometime you have to swipe twice.

It is not a big deal. Some times we all have had to swipe twice.

Tired that it kick me away I found a fix that works half of the time it's sliding till my finger reached the end of the case and the phone has to be tilted

The phone does not have to be tilted.

Could be the edges of you case are getting in the way of a good complete swipe.

Except for some never fixed iOS9 bugs, and the new keyboard bug (numbers then a space will keep you on the number keyboard rather than switch back to letters, it's all fine.

Maybe but it was a bug added in iOS 10.1 that affects iPhones only not iPad since it's more optimize for iPads

Well, nothing new, but my iPad Pro still has weird lag.

@Newtons Apple Quick question for you since I know you have an (or 2 ?) iPad Pro 9.7", has iOS 10 introduced some lag and stutter for you? It was always super smooth on my iPhone SE, but on my iPad I often get hangs when swiping to the widgets and scrolling through the widgets is incredibly suttery. iOS 10.1 seemed to help some, but I still get like a 2 second delay from when I swipe from the top of the screen to NC actually sliding down. Trying to see if I need to go through the massive hassle of a reinstall (which I hate since my iPad is such a heaving computing device for me and has so much data on it + messages history).

Still having crackling and skipping w/ Bluetooth audio w/ 10.1 doesn't happen as often but it's still happening. Didn't happen at all w/ iOS 9

I had a 9.7 and a 12.9 but returned the 12.9 for an additional 9.7.

I have found my 9.7 iPad Pro to be pretty well "smooth". I had an Air 3 before and it did have an occasional stutter but not had this with the 9.7. One of them is at the Lazyboy where I do most of my off hours Internet consumption and the other is kept in the SUV for filed use in my work.

I am not saying there is not an occasional hang or stutter but it happens rarely, maybe once a week. I do use the ad blocker called Crystal and it has greatly sped up sites that are clogged with ads that insist in dancing across our screens! I do not remember a two second delay on either of my iPad Pro units. They are updated to the latest OS. Other than them rebooting when a new OS was installed, I seldom do a restart. They are both 256Gb Cellular units, one on AT&T.

I recently went through hurricane Mathew and lost electricity for 5 days. The iPad 9.7 on cellular save my metal health as I was able to stream both local and national news along with some movies. Had one 3500 watt generator that kept the food and charging going. Had to go to a motel twice, just to take a shower but stayed at the house for the duration. ATT even sent me a text telling people in my area that all the cellular data was free until we got power back. I have an Unlimited Data Plan SIM and it would not have cost me anyway but thought it was nice of AT&T who never went down one second.

Might be time to restore and hope it fixes your problems.

[doublepost=1477365989][/doublepost]I restore it in iTunes and issue still happen and Apple care support ran diagnostic and no issues found what can this be

I'd return your phone and go for a different brand if you are consistently having issues. What's the point to keep buying Apple?
