13 Pro here, did briefly consider upgrading, but it still works like a champ, it's super fast with iOS17 and the battery life is great so its super difficult to justify replacing it. Looking for some bigger improvements and will wait for 16.

I am upgrading after having done so with the 13Pro and 14Pro. My reasoning is my battery life is poor already, I want the ability to shoot video for vision pro (at least to store some good memories for when the tech is mature), and the lighter phone.
I will likely keep this one for 3 years (took the carrier deal this time vs trade in and cash to apple). We will see - I usually only keep for 2 years, did 3 once and it was tough but the phones have really matured so I think it’s a safe bet.
The new body/frame will be here for at least the 16Pro.

I’ve seen a few of the early video reviews mention that the Pros feel better weight balanced, and less top heavy which is a bugbear for me with the 13 Pro, so feeling more encouraged about my upgrade now.
I was originally gonna order the iPhone 15 pro max but decided not to. Wait times are too long for me and I like to buy mine with in store pick up. I ended up getting the iPhone 15 plus in black.
Me and my wife are switching from our long tooth XR to the iPhone 15. I placed the order through our spectrum provider. $180 trade in credit, hard to believe, It was $100 bonus credit for the trade so $80 actual for the phone.

The lure of the USB-C port and titanium overcame my common sense. I’ve had a thing for the look and feel of titanium ever since feeling the titanium skin of the SR-71 spy plane at the Air Force at Wright-Patterson AFB decades ago. And my iPhone 13 Pro is the last device I use with Lightning and it will be great to quit carrying around the extra cable. USB-C rules.
I bought an iPhone 15 Pro, 256GB storage, natural titanium. Will pick it up from the Apple Store tomorrow. I was amazed they had one in stock since I didn’t cave into temptation until 4 pm launch day.
Mine has none in stock. I tried ever color of the Pro Max. And it’s all sold out.
Yup and you need the stalk to app or website to get one. I looked for 2 hours last night for an exchange for my 15pm natural to 15pm blue and only saw 3 show up in 2 hours I looked.
